The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a self-governing committee made up of PS 45 parents that provides enrichment programs for students, resources for families, classroom support for teachers, community engagement, and meaningful activities for the families of the PS 45 school community. The PTA Executive Board adopts its own bylaws that abide by the rules outlined in the Chancellor’s Regulation A-660 (CR A-660). The PTA is required to have two meetings per month; one for planning and the other to inform the school community. All positions are 1 year term limit and on a voluntary basis.
